How ABA coverage works, in plain language
Most major insurance plans cover Applied Behavior Analysis therapy for children with an autism diagnosis. Coverage usually requires a recent autism evaluation, prior authorization from your insurer, and a treatment plan from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
